Glorious Gravel, my first event for a long long

So this was my first event since since before the the pandemic, my anxieties started getting the better of me the few days before, and I started to find excuses, such as the weather not looking good

Also my first time using the GoPro, I just set it to take a photo every 30 seconds, what ever I got was what I would end up with

The weather started out nice, but with a lot of water laying about

But it wasn't to long before my glasses had gotten to dark to wair in this overcast day, and my under cap had go to wet the the peek was just dropping down into my face, so I had to push it up under my helmet, so forgive the dubious fashion

But there were some paces with just summer sand

But when it got wet, it got wet

Overall

Despite the anxieties before the ride, was pretty pleased with my 4hr 20 ship time, 4hr 03 riding time, if I can anywhere near that in my next race I will be estatic, it will be hillier, but hopefully it will be dryer (and I won't pack as much stuff that I don't need)
